FOR Faculty, Staff and Family Members
This page is designed to provide information to those who play an integral role in the life of the SPC student. Our purpose is twofold. Provide you with up to date information about services provided by the Center for Personal Development, and in the event you determine that a student can benefit, how you can access our services. Additionally, we aim to serve as a resource for you by providing information helpful in your interactions with students.

Confidentiality
-
Although we appreciate the concern that others have for the students, we are bound by law and professional ethics to protect the confidentiality of all communications. As a result, we are unable to discuss details of a student’s situation or even indicate whether the student is in counseling. There are exceptions to confidentiality, which includes when a student signs a release allowing us to communicate with others, or when a student is in imminent danger of harming oneself or other.
