General Custodian-Part Time

Saturday & Sunday - 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
                                              
Summary Description:
 
The General Custodian will be responsible for grounds keeping duties and maintaining exterior of the College Campus. Duties include emptying trash receptacles into dumpsters, sweeping and removing debris from walkways, grass and entrances, shoveling snow. Performs other duties as assigned.
 
Knowledge of basic methods, materials and tools used in custodial work. Work independently of supervision. Ability to understand and follow oral and written directions.
 
High School or GED preferred, with one year of related experience.

 CLERK TYPIST-Part-Time  (Englewood Cliffs Campus)

 Mon., Wed., Thurs. 1:00 P.M – 6:00 P.M

 Tues. 9:00 A.M. – 2:00 P.M.

 There is presently a part-time position available in the School of Nursing for a Clerical Support staff person.
 
Duties for the individual hired will include typing, filing, copying, collating, data entry and answering phones. Computer skills with Microsoft Word and Excel are essential. Other duties as assigned.

                                    SALARY:                   $11.00 PER HOUR

Admission Concierge

The Office of Undergraduate Day Admission (CAS/BA) Admission Concierge will serve as the liaison between all visitors to Lee House and our staff. The Admission Concierge will work hand-in-hand with the Campus Visit Coordinator to ensure quality campus visit experience for prospective students and their families and friends. Incumbent upon the Admission Concierge are the following responsibilities:
 
  • Face to face greeting of all who pass through the doors of Lee House
  • Scheduling of campus visits, including tours, interviews, class visits, lunches
  • Assistance with comfort upon visitors’ arrival and throughout their visit
  • Inventory and supply of materials for visitors, including publications, gifts, and refreshments
  • Thorough collection of visitors’ information, as well as visitor numbers/statistics
  • Interface/coordination with Pavo Society student ambassadors
  • Monitoring and upkeep of visitor areas
  • Maintaining schedule for Executive Director of Admission
  • Other secretarial duties as assigned
The Admission Concierge will be expected to staff the lobby area from the opening of Lee House at 9:00 AM until closing at 5:00 PM, and should seek coverage for any absence from the lobby on a rotating basis with members of the Operations Staff or student ambassadors/interns.

Accounts Payable Clerk

Under the direction of the AP Specialist, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be primarily responsible for the data entry of accounts payable transactions including vendor invoices and employee expense reports, and document filing.
 
Other duties may include invoice approval and coding verification, processing/distributing checks, responding to vendor and employee inquiries, problem resolution and maintaining/reconciling petty cash.
 
In addition, the Accounts Payable Clerk will assist with all typical duties assigned to the department and any special projects as required.
 
Requirements include 2 years experience in a fast paced accounts payable department, including a solid understanding of the principles of accounts payable, the functions of an accounts payable department, and utilizing an integrated computerized system.
 
 In addition, the candidate must be attentive to details, possess excellent interpersonal skills and be able to develop a positive relationship with the college community and outside vendors.
