Saint Peter’s College, a Catholic, Jesuit Institution, is located in Jersey City, New Jersey. It has an undergraduate enrollment of approximately 2200 full-time students, 600 part-time students, and a graduate enrollment of over 500 students. BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION
Opening in Business Administration Dept. for one-year, full-time, non-tenure, Instructor or Lecturer position, teaching undergraduate courses (Basic Management; Basic Marketing; Organizational Behavior; Consumer Behavior and/or Export Marketing and Management). Position begins August 2009 for academic year 2009-10. Must have completed MBA degree, and have business and teaching experience. PhD, DBA or ABD in business field preferred. Full-time Nursing Faculty Positions Available for the 2009-2010 Academic Year:
Nursing Faculty Positions Available for newly developed generic BSN program at Jersey City Campus. One tenure-track position available for doctoral prepared candidate with clinical specialty in psychiatric/mental health nursing or Clinical rank appointment with potential for promotion in rank and multiple year contract available for candidate with Masters in Nursing and certification in psychiatric/mental health specialty. Must have NJ nursing license.
Responsibilities include classroom and clinican teaching.

Full-time Faculty Positions Available for the 2009-2010 Academic Year:
The following tenure-track positions for Assistant Professors are available for August 2009, pending budget approval.
Economics and Finance-January 2009 thru December 2009
One year position for an instructor of eight economic courses, including statistics for business and economics and principles of economics.
Biology – responsibilities include teaching undergraduate courses in Anatomy and Physiology for majors and nursing students, General Biology, as well as core courses for non-majors. Research with students is encouraged.
Chemistry – responsibilities include teaching undergraduate courses in Biochemistry and Organic Chemistry, as well as chemistry for nursing students. Specialty in Nucleic acid chemistry preferable.
Education – Responsibilities include teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Undergraduate courses include High School Curriculum and Organization and Tests and Measurements (Assessment). At the graduate level, courses will include Internships and Historical and Philosophical Foundations of Education. Experience in secondary administration preferred.
ADJUNCT POSITIONS
Adjunct faculty are needed to teach undergraduate courses in Accounting, Africana Studies, Biology, Chemistry, Composition, Modern language, Philosophy, and Sociology.
A minimum of a master’s degree in the appropriate field is required.

Biology

Composition
Introductory courses in writing.
Modern Language
Introductory course in Arabic
Philosophy
Introduction to Philosophy, History of Philosophy, and Ethics.
Public Policy
Introduction to Public Policy and Social Activism as well as a course in Community Organizing.
Sociology
Introduction to Sociology, Contemporary Cities and some electives.
