Gannon Debating Society

The Gannon Debating Society is one of the oldest clubs on campus. A member of the National Educational Debate Association, the club competes against colleges and universities from across the United States. Recent competitions have been held at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana, and Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Saint Peter's College had the honor of hosting the 2008 National Competition.

Fall 2008 Competition Schedule

The Fall debate topic is that "Americans overvalue athletic competition."

October 10th-11th: Anderson University: Anderson, Indiana

October 24th-25th: Capital University: Columbus, Ohio

November 14th-15th: Transylvania University: Lexington, Kentucky

December 5th-6th: Ball State University: Muncie, Indiana
