Business is what brought me from Montana to Saint Peter's. I wanted to study in an area of the country where business is "booming" and where there are plenty of business and employment opportunities both during my undergraduate work and, most importantly, after. While making the decision to study at SPC was not an easy one, I have since found out that I made a good choice not simply in regards to the area of the country in which I am studying, but also in choosing a school with such a strong business program.

Each and every one of my professors has been phenomenal. I have learned so much about the different subjects that we have been studying, and the professors never hesitate to invite me into their office for extra help, or any kind of discussion that is necessary. It is not just advice about the classes that the professors will give; but rather, advice about anything from careers to class schedules to internship opportunities.

I went into the office not long ago to speak with the Chairperson of the department to talk about taking some business classes abroad next year while I am studying in Hong Kong in the Spring of 2007. She was very excited about the fact that I was pursuing this opportunity, and more than cooperative to make sure that I was able to match up a few of the business classes in order that the credits would transfer over. So, not only will I be on track to receive my degree in May 2008, I will have gotten more out of my education than I ever would've thought possible.
