- Ancient Mesoamerican Civilizations University of Minnesota Department of Anthropology - The primary groups addressed are the Maya, Mixtec, Zapotec, and Aztec.
- Anthro.Net Research Engine: Anthropology and Archaeology A search engine, combined with subject links and bibliographies to anthropology, archaeology, history, linguistics, psychology, and sociology. Over 40,000 selected sites are included in their database.

- VoS - Voice of the Shuttle Gateway to 25 broad subjects in the humanities including anthropolgy, architecture, art, dance, legal studies, music and photography. Developed by Alan Liu (University of California, Santa Barbara).
- WEDA - The Worldwide Email Directory of Anthropologists Searchable database of address and research information about anthropologists from around the world. WEDA is hosted on the University at Buffalo Department of Anthropology web pages and it is also accessible in French and Spanish.
