Chamaigne Beidler - Women’s Soccer
Class of 2000

Chamaigne Beidler played four seasons as the Peahen goalie. She is first all-time in saves (576), first all-time in saves per game (8.60), third all-time in GAA (2.79), first all-time with 16 wins and first all-time with three ties. Has three of the best GAA, saves and saves per game for a season in SPC history and was the 2000 NCAA Statistical Champion in saves per game. Chamaigne is currently an investigator for the US Government.

Jamar Hunter, Men’s Basketball
Class of 1999

Jamar Hunter is 15th on the All-Time scoring list with 1,317 points. He was named to the MAAC All-Tournament Team in 1999 and led SPC to the MAAC Championship Game in 1999. In the 1999 MAAC Tournament he scored 27 points in win over Canisius, 26 in win over Niagara and 22 in loss to Siena. He was named All-MAAC Third-team in 1999, All-MAAC Third-Team in 1998 and to the All-MAAC Rookie Team in 1996. He averaged 12.3ppg as a sophomore, 16.2ppg as a junior and 15ppg as a senior. Hunter is currently a production coordinator for Phase Five Communications and the CEO of Rollin Wit It Records.

Yvette Lozanski, Volleyball
Class of 2000

Yvette Losanski is second all-time with 1727 kills, first with 4.11 kpg, first with 206 service aces, third with .49 apg, first with 1373 digs, third with 3.27 dpg, second with 2010.5 points, third with 4.79 ppg. Her 531 kills in 1996 is the most for a single season. She was named the MAAC Co-Player of the Year in 1997 and was named All-MAAC First Team in 1996, 97, 98, 99. She ranked third in the Nation in aces per game as a freshman and led the 1997 and 1999 team in kills per game. She then was an assistant coach for two seasons. Losanski is currently a Special Ed Teacher at Lakeland Regional High School.

Charlie Meisse, Baseball
Class of 1966

Charlie Meisse had a 17-8 record with an ERA under 2.00 for three seasons at SPC. He batted over .300 in his career and led the team in homers in 1964 (2), 1965 (3) and 1966 (2). He led the team in RBI in 1965 and 1966 and played on the last baseball team that had consecutive winning seasons in 1964 and 1965. He was named All-NJ in 1965 and 1966 and was elected to the St. Joseph’s (West New York, NJ) High School Athletic Hall of Fame in 2005.

Crystal Carey (Robinson), Women’s Basketball
Class of 1998

Crystal Carey is fifth all-time in rebounding with 819. She had 21 rebounds vs. Marist as a senior and was the team’s leading scorer in 1997-98 (14.6ppg) and averaged 10.2 rebounds per game. She was also the team’s leading free throw shooter (.763) on the 1997 MAAC Championship Team. Her Peahens won the MAAC Regular Season Championships her freshman and sophomore season and the MAAC Championship in her junior season. She was named All-MAAC first team in 1998, 1997 MAAC Tournament MVP and 1995 MAAC All-Rookie Team. Carey is currently a Home and Hospital Teacher in Anne Arundel County and is a Sweet and Savory Chef.

Jimmie Wandling, Men’s Soccer
Class of 1997

Jimmie Wandling played three seasons at SPC after transferring. In 1994 he was named MAAC Rookie of the Year with six goals and two assists for 14 points and was named All-MAAC in 1996 with three goals and five assists for 11 points. He still plays semi-professional soccer for the Kearny Scots-American Club. Wandling is currently a teacher at St. Benedict’s Prep and the Associate Head Coach of their National Championhip Boys Soccer team. While at St. Benedict’s, he coached six of the current Peacocks.

Paul Conway, Class of 1962
(Special Achievement)

Paul Conway coached St. Michael’s High School of Union City boys basketball from 1962-1966, winning the 1965 Parochial B title. In tennis he coached the Holy Family Academy for 18 seasons and accumulated a record of 261-46. He had 75 consecutive wins over Hudson County opponents from 1991-95 and won seven county titles and five county tournament championships. Conway is a teacher, supervisor and vice-principal at Hasbrouck High School.

Bill Knapp, Class of 1968
(Special Service)

Bill Knapp has been an integral part of the Athletics Department since becoming the IRC Director at SPC. He has assured all SPC fans that the PA system and the radio equipment is working properly during all SPC home events. He can always be seen prior to and after games setting up and breaking down the equipment needed to make an event run smoothly. He has also been gracious enough to allow Athletics to use the equipment to make commercials for all of the SPC radio broadcasts.

Jay O’Brien, Class of 1977
(Special Service)

Jay O’Brien is currently the VP for Divisional Merchandise Manager at Foot Locker inc. (Foot Action Division). With his current job in the athletic business it has afforded him the opportunity to assist the basketball teams with athletic equipment over the past several years. His career started 25 years ago with the Kinney shoe division. He has lived in California as well as Florida and always stayed in touch with all the sports teams at the college. While at Saint Peter’s he played soccer for two seasons, was an assistant coach from 1977-1981 and the RLC Evening Supervisor from 1981-1984.
